Charles "Eddie" Alvarez
President & Chief Executive Officer
Charles Eddie Alvarez is a highly respected leader in the acoustics and drywall industry, with over four decades of experience. His career began in 1978, working in a warehouse and installing insulation, where he developed a deep understanding of the field. In 1984, Eddie transitioned into estimating and crew management, thanks to a pivotal opportunity from the late Burl Harris, a mentor who shaped his approach to business and leadership. Eddie’s expertise propelled him to serve as General Manager and later President of Harris Acoustics, a role in which he further honed his managerial and operational skills.
In 2012, Eddie founded Alvarez Drywall & Acoustics, which has since grown into a trusted provider of drywall and acoustical services across Texas and beyond. Under his leadership, the company has built a reputation for quality and reliability, serving a wide range of clients. Eddie credits his success to the foundational principles taught to him by Burl Harris—fostering innovation, growth, and a commitment to excellence.
Beyond his professional achievements, Eddie is deeply committed to his family. He and his wife, Allyson, have been married since 1998 and together they have built a large and close-knit family, with seven children, fifteen grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. In his free time, Eddie enjoys spending time at the lake, hunting, and traveling with Allyson.
Eddie’s long-standing expertise, combined with his personal approach to business, continues to drive the success of Alvarez Drywall & Acoustics.

Danny Brooks
Vice President & Chief Operations Officer
Danny is a dedicated professional with a longstanding career in the construction industry. His journey began in high school, working on construction sites, and he quickly rose through the ranks to become a field foreman in 2006, where he specialized in scheduling crews.
In 2009, thanks to an opportunity from Eddie Alvarez, Danny transitioned from the field to the office, focusing on job estimating—a role he has excelled in ever since. His expertise and commitment were instrumental when he partnered with Eddie in 2012 to help establish Alvarez Drywall & Acoustics.
Outside of his professional achievements, Danny enjoys hunting, fishing, and preparing meals for his family and friends. He and his wife Missy, along with their two children, one grandchild, and their dog Roxy, enjoy the quieter side of life, living the dream with a house on the lake.
Danny’s extensive experience and hands-on approach continue to contribute to the success of Alvarez Drywall & Acoustics, making him an integral part of our team.

Becky Race
Chief Financial Officer
Becky Race is the Chief Financial Officer for Alvarez Drywall & Acoustics, Inc. She has worked alongside Eddie Alvarez for the past 22 years, playing a pivotal role in establishing the company’s financial success since its inception in 2012. A graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Becky has been a Certified Public Accountant in Texas since 1989. With over 30 years of experience in construction accounting, she is an industry expert in contract management, risk management, human resources, finance, and business administration.
Known for her comprehensive knowledge and hands-on approach, Becky ensures the financial stability and operational efficiency of Alvarez Drywall & Acoustics. In her spare time, she enjoys adventurous activities like white water rafting, parasailing, and four-wheeling. Becky is also a dedicated mother of four and proud grandmother of two, with her youngest grandbaby just 1 month old.

Tim Alvarez
Vice President of Project Administration
Tim is a dedicated construction professional with over two decades of experience in the commercial construction industry. Tim’s career began in 1998 while he was still in high school, working in the warehouse at Harris Acoustics. In his senior year, he began working in the office and learning the inner workings of the construction business. After graduating, he earned an associate’s degree in Recording Music Technology from Madison Media Institute in Wisconsin, a qualification that fuels his passion for music.
Upon returning to Texas in 2004, Tim rejoined Harris Acoustics and pursued night classes in drafting and building design. Working closely with his grandfather, the late Burl Harris, Tim was instrumental in designing and constructing buildings all around Abilene.
In 2014, Tim brought his extensive field experience to Alvarez Drywall & Acoustics, where he now serves as Vice President of Project Administration. In this role, he manages a wide range of operational and administrative responsibilities, ensuring the construction process runs smoothly.
Outside of work, Tim is passionate about building design, playing guitar, recording music, and keeping up with the latest Marvel and Star Wars films. Yet, the most important aspect of his life is spending quality time with his family. Tim and his wife Andie have three children.
Tim’s extensive expertise is an important part of Alvarez Drywall & Acoustics’ success.

Stephanie DeLaGarza
Vice President of Business Development
Stephanie DeLaGarza is the Vice President of Business Development for Alvarez Drywall & Acoustics, where she leverages her expertise in management, relationship building, marketing, public relations, and strategic planning to help drive the company’s growth. In addition to her role at Alvarez, Stephanie is deeply committed to the Abilene community. She serves as the Chair of the Abilene Young Professionals Steering Committee, is a board member of the All Kind Animal Initiative, and is part of the steering committee for the Laura W. Bush Institute for Women’s Health. Additionally, she plays an active role in the Leadership Abilene program through the Abilene Chamber of Commerce, as a class of 2021 graduate of the program she is co-chairing Servant Leader Day to help introduce the Leadership Abilene class to the nonprofit sector. Stephanie was also honored as a 2022 Top 20 Under 40 recipient by the Abilene Young Professionals.
Outside of her professional commitments, Stephanie and her husband, Alex, are the proud owners of the local MAC Tools franchise, which he manages daily. Having met as high school sweethearts, they are also proud parents to two boys, Maddox and Brennan. Most evenings, you’ll find Stephanie supporting community initiatives or cheering on her kids at their various activities. A self-proclaimed book nerd and leadership podcast aficionado, Stephanie loves diving into new reads and exploring fresh leadership ideologies. When she’s not spending quality time with her family, she can often be found indulging in a shopping adventure!

Larry Baugh
Vice President of South Texas Operations
Larry Baugh is the Vice President of South Texas Operations, managing our San Angelo, Texas office. Larry’s career in the construction industry began in the 1970s as a high school summer laborer for a drywall company. After graduation, he moved to full-time work, steadily rising through the ranks to Estimator and Project Manager by the late 1980s. In the early 2000s, Larry broadened his skills as a Project Superintendent for a General Contractor, before bringing his expertise to Alvarez Drywall & Acoustics nearly 10 years ago. For the past three years, Larry has led our South Texas Operations, building a respected name for Alvarez Drywall across San Angelo and all of South Texas.
Larry’s dedication and hands-on leadership are essential to our continued success in the region. Known for his commitment to quality and client relationships, he consistently sets a high standard that drives our reputation forward.
Outside of work, Larry enjoys hunting, fishing, and tackling projects around the house. He and his wife, Debra, are proud parents to two sons, Justin and Jason, and have four grandchildren. We’re grateful for Larry’s hard work and the invaluable impact he has on the success of Alvarez Drywall & Acoustics.

Reggie Pimento
Vice President of Regional Field Operations
Reggie Pimento brings over 14 years of industry expertise to the table, with six years in commercial construction and eight years in industrial services for the oil and gas sector. Reggie is a seasoned leader with a robust background in organizational management and OSHA standards within the commercial construction industry.
Growing up in Central Texas, Reggie made Abilene his home in 2005. He and his wife Christina have four children and are doting grandparents to three.
Known for his hands-on approach and down-to-earth personality, Reggie connects easily with both colleagues and clients. Outside of his professional commitments, he is an avid hunter and fisherman, and loves spending time outdoors. Most weekends, you’ll find him at the lake, reeling in the big catch or enjoying a barbecue with friends and family.

Scott Johnson
Estimator & Project Manager
Scott Johnson joins the Alvarez Drywall & Acoustics team as an Estimator and Project Manager, bringing decades of expertise in the customer service and telecommunications industries. Originally from Apple Valley, California, Scott’s career includes nearly a decade of experience in the telecommunications industry, where he worked as a fusion splicer in fiber optics and then as a site foreman. Scott’s foundational knowledge of safety protocols and construction site compliance, combined with his extensive customer service background, allows him to bring a well-rounded perspective to the Alvarez team.
In addition to his work in the construction and telecommunications sectors, Scott spent over 20 years in the customer service industry. During this time, he honed his ability to connect with customers, provide solutions tailored to their needs, and ensure their satisfaction—skills that translate seamlessly into his current role at Alvarez Drywall & Acoustics, where client satisfaction is a top priority.
Scott’s approachable demeanor and proven ability to work with a wide variety of industries make him an excellent addition to the team. He and his wife, April, have been married for 10 years and together have seven children. Scott enjoys spending time with his family and friends, working in his yard, and staying active at the gym.
With his diverse background and commitment to delivering exceptional service, Scott is a valuable asset to Alvarez Drywall & Acoustics.

Andrea "Andie" Alvarez
Accounts Payable Manager
Andie Alvarez brings a diverse professional background and a meticulous eye for detail to her role as Accounts Payable Manager at Alvarez Drywall & Acoustics. With years of experience in roles requiring problem-solving, organizational expertise, and a commitment to accuracy, Andie has developed a strong analytical mindset and the ability to manage complex processes precisely. Her past work history has helped her to cultivate a deep understanding of effective communication, payroll coordination, and process oversight, making her an asset to the team.
Outside of work, Andie has been happily married to her husband Tim for 21 years, and together they have three daughters who inspire her every day. She loves attending concerts, crafting, cooking, and baking show-stopping cakes. A proud stockholder of the Green Bay Packers, Andie enjoys cheering on her favorite team with family and friends.
Andie’s meticulous approach ensures seamless accounts payable and payroll operations, making her an invaluable asset to the Alvarez team.

Brayden Ivy
Assistant Project Manager, South Texas Operations
Brayden rejoined the Alvarez team as Assistant Project Manager of South Texas Operations at our San Angelo Office in July 2023, bringing nearly a decade of construction experience and a combined three years with Alvarez Drywall & Acoustics to his role. Starting as a laborer in 2014, Brayden quickly advanced through roles in metal stud framing and drywall mechanics. After completing college studies in another field, he gained valuable experience as a site superintendent with other firms, overseeing complex projects from start to finish across Missouri and Arkansas. Brayden’s dedication, industry insight, and skilled project management are crucial in growing our South Texas Operations and expanding the Alvarez brand in new markets.
Originally from Abilene, Brayden values his family deeply and strives for excellence in all areas of his life, personally and professionally. Outside of work, he enjoys working out, visiting the gun range, hiking, and camping. He is also a passionate writer currently compiling his poetry into a book.

Roy Mosier
Field Superintendent
Roy Mosier is a seasoned Field Superintendent at Alvarez Drywall & Acoustics, bringing decades of experience in the construction industry. Roy began his career in 1976, working for a variety of construction companies before joining Alvarez Drywall, nearly 12 years ago, where his expertise and leadership have been invaluable.
Roy is dedicated to ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards, making him a trusted leader on every job site. His deep understanding of construction processes and safety practices helps maintain a productive and secure work environment.
Outside of work, Roy enjoys spending time at the lake camping, fishing, and hunting. He’s been married to his wife, Theresa, for 46 years, and together they have 2 children and 3 grandchildren. Roy loves fishing and hunting with his grandkids and is especially excited to teach his youngest granddaughter, who is 2 years old, how to fish and hunt.
